After twelve years in the classroom, David now serves Spartanburg District Five Schools as an Instructional Technology Coach. In 2016-2017, District Five 3rd-8th grade classrooms became 1:1 with Dell touch laptops. He works with teachers to implement technology in their classrooms to make lessons more authentic and engaging.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in 2003 in Industrial Technology Education and Human Resource Development. He also received his Master’s degree from Lesley University in 2012 in Technology in Education where he found his passion for integrating instructional technology.
David and his wife, Heather, have a seven-year-old daughter, Audrey. During the summer of 2016, they moved from Simpsonville to Greer. He enjoys spending time with his family and taking trips to the beach and the mountains. Outside of school he owns and operates a professional photography business. He is passionate about photography and enjoys photographing weddings, portraits, and sports.
